Nalgonda, Dec.8 (NSS): Former minister Jagadish Reddy today said CM Revanth Reddy was constantly chanting KCR’s name in his speeches. Stating that KCR is in the minds of the people, he claimed that Revanth Reddy was afraid that KCR would always come out like Lard Narasimhaswamy.
Speaking to the people in Nalgonda on the occasion, Jagadish Reddy criticized the change of the face of Telangana Thalli by the Revanth Reddy government and made it clear that they were opposed to the installation of the statue of Telangana Thalli in the secretariat. He suggested that the statue should be kept in Gandhi Bhavan, if desired.
Jagadish Reddy claimed that the combined Nalgonda district was lagging behind during decades of the Congress rule. “I am proud to have made the district prosperous under the leadership of KCR. KCR is credited with increasing the power generation capacity from 7,000 MW in 2014 to 24,000 MW,” he said. He recalled that minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy had boasted that he would block the Yadadri Thermal Power Plant. “I was afraid of where he would block the inauguration of the project yesterday. I thank Komatireddy for not blocking the power plant,” he said. Jagadeesh Reddy said the medical college and Brahmanavellamla projects were sanctioned by the BRS government itself.
He said in the one year of Congress rule, people had not benefited. Stating that there are more than five lakh borewells in Nalgonda district, he said the district had benefited the most from the free electricity given by KCR.
