
Hyderabad, Dec.11 (NSS): Minister for IT and Industries Duddilla Sridhar Babu has urged NASSCOM to collaborate with the Telangana government’s prestigious Young India Skills University.
During a meeting on Wednesday at the Secretariat with NASSCOM President Rajesh Nambiar, the Minister discussed various key topics.
Emphasizing the rapid expansion of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Sridhar Babu highlighted NASSCOM’s critical role in upskilling IT professionals and engineering graduates. He requested NASSCOM to leverage its influence to encourage new companies to set up operations in Hyderabad, reinforcing the city’s position as a hub for Global Capability Centers (GCCs).
The Minister expressed confidence that Telangana would emerge as a frontrunner in the IT sector nationwide in the coming years. He credited Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s visionary leadership for establishing a world-class ecosystem that is unparalleled in scale and ambition.
The meeting was attended by the State Government’s IT Advisor Sai Krishna, NASSCOM representatives Srikant Srinivasan and Praveen, along with Government IT strategist Srikant.
