Congress high command to take decision on Cabinet expansion: Bhatti

New Delhi, Dec.12 (NSS): Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka has informed that the high command will take a decision on the expansion of the cabinet.

The Deputy Chief Minister, who is on a visit to Delhi, hosted a breakfast meeting with Telangana Congress MPs here on Thursday. Speaking on the occasion, he said that more than 50 percent of the people were satisfied with the public administration in Telangana.

“I don’t think that 100 percent of the people will be happy with the governance. But, I can say one thing for sure that majority of the people are happy with the performance of the State government,” Bhatti Vikramarka said.

Speaking about the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRA), he made it clear that the HYDRA does not differentiate between the rich and the poor people and it will take action against those who encroach on the ponds and other water bodies.

Stating that the State government is giving much importance to the education, the Deputy Chief Minister said that they are going to construct integrated schools on 25 acres of land in each Assembly constituency across the Telangana State.

He stated that the process has been initiated to implement the Rythu Bharosa scheme from the Sankranti festival and farmers are getting more benefited through the bonus than the loan waiver and Rythu Bharosa schemes.

He further clarified that the Telangana State didn’t have any statue officially in past and the previous BRS government didn’t take any initiative to set up the Telangana Talli statue.

“There is no rule for how many days the Assembly sessions should be held. Moreover, the Assembly rules were changed when BRS was in power,” Bhatti said.

He stated that the State government has focused on governance, which is why it lagged behind in the campaign.

“From December 14 onwards, Ministers, MLAs and officials will have meals with parents and students in hostels across the Telangana State. The current government is providing better governance than the previous KCR regime,” he said.
