HYDERABAD (RAHNUMA) Hyderabad recently witnessed an enchanting musical tribute to the legendary “Shahenshah-e-Ghazal” Ustad Mehdi Hasan Saheb at the picturesque Paigah Palace Courtyard. The event, titled Rabta-e-Ghazal, featured Sahibzada Syed Amir Ali Hyder of the Kalawant clan as the lead ghazal artist, captivating the audience with his mesmerizing renditions. Accompanied by the brilliant Sarangi maestro Ustad Ilyaz Khan, Tabla maestro Najamuddin Javed, and Harmonium virtuoso Yaqubali Sahab, the performance paid homage to Mehdi Hasan Saheb’s enduring legacy in the realm of Ghazaliyath.
Adding to the grandeur, the event was graced by members of Hyderabad’s noble families, including the members of the erstwhile royal family and members of the Paigah aristocracy. The distinguished guest list included notable dignitaries, such as Nawab Raunaq Yar Khan, Nawab Obaid Ur Rehman, Vicar ul-Umara Paigah, Mohammed Maher Ali Khan, son of late Nawab Iqbal Ali Khan, GPA of late Prince Mukarram Jah Bahadur, Hasan Nawab Son of Begum Vicarunissa, Vicar ul-Umara Paigah, Imam ul-Mulk IV Lord Ahmed Amir, Great Grandson of Secunder Yar Jung III.
