Hyderabad, Nov.17 (RAHNUMA): Minister for Tourism and Culture Jupally Krishna Rao on Monday expressed deep shock and grief over the tragic bus accident that occurred in Saudi Arabia.
He was deeply distressed to learn that pilgrims from Telangana, particularly from Hyderabad, were among those who lost their lives in the unfortunate incident. Krishna Rao conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the deceased and expressed his deep sympathy to the bereaved families.
He reaffirmed that the Telangana government stands firmly with the families of the victims during this difficult time and will extend all necessary assistance and support.
The Minister stated that the State government is in constant coordination with the Central Government (Ministry of External Affairs) as well as the Saudi Arabian Embassy, ensuring close monitoring of the situation.
He further informed that the government has expedited all procedures to repatriate the mortal remains of the deceased at the earliest and to ensure the safety and welfare of the remaining pilgrims.
