
Hyderabad, Nov.19 (RAHNUMA): The Biotechnology Research and Innovation Council (BRIC) – Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics (CDFD) organised the curtain raiser for the “India International Science Festival (IISF) 2025” on Wednesday under the theme “Vigyan Se Samruddhi: For Atma Nirbhar Bharat”.
About 500 students and teachers from various schools in the city participated in the event, which featured scientific demonstrations, exhibits, poster displays and interactive sessions with researchers.
On this occasion, Dr. Abhay Ram Bansal of NGRI highlighted the objectives and impact of IISF, while Dr. Varsha Srivastava of CDFD briefed students on the Government of India’s “D.E.S.I.G.N for BioE3” monthly challenge.
Students later toured CDFD’s research labs and incubator facilities. The programme aimed to promote scientific curiosity and awareness about IISF 2025.
