
Karimnagar, Nov.23 (RAHNUMA): Telangana Pragathi Indira Mahila Shakti Saree Distribution Program at Mahalakshmi Gardens in Chiguru Mamidi Mandal headquarters of Husnabad Constituency. State transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar was present at the meeting bent as the chief guest.
He distributed Bottu Petti Sarees to the women on the occasion. Kalyana Lakshmi cheques were distributed on the occasion. The program was attended by District Collector Pamela Satpati, Additional Collector Ashwini Tanaji Wakade, Husnabad Market Committee Chairman Tirupati Reddy other key leaders and officials.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Ponnam Prabhakar said that these sarees made in Sircilla would be distributed to all the women above the age of 18 in Telangana and added that Women’s groups should go door to door and put on this saree. He said that All the women should move forward together and their blessings should be on the state government.
“For the last 10 years, there have been no interest-free loans for the women. We are providing the zero-interest loans to women as soon as we came to power. We are implementing many schemes like solar power plants, petrol pumps, buses for women’s groups. We are solving women’s problems in the public government. We are buying the paddy grown by farmers. We are making uniforms of students by women tailors. We are providing basic facilities to ideal schools through the women.
Noting they have recently conducted a house-to-house survey, he said that If they look at the reasons for getting to high positions, money, caste, religion are not these bit those who are well educated have gone to the high positions.
He said that by distributing these sarees, they were participating in a strong government program. 3500 Indiramma houses have come to the constituency. The houses are in the final stage. They have to build more and build them. then another 3500 Indiramma houses will come. The Women have got the free bus travel in RTC and new ration cards. We are distributing fine grade rice, 200 units of free electricity, ₹500 subsidy on gas cylinders.
He said that Indiramma sarees were being distributed to every home and asked officials distribute these sarees in batches.
“We will allocate funds to provide the buildings to women’s groups for those , who have space.
Prabhakar said that Women should excel in all fields and added that the women should give their children a high level of education. While noting that success is possible only when women are united. He said that their public government would give the women a big role towards women’s empowerment.
