Hyderabad, Nov.25 (RAHNUMA): Telangana Legislative Council Chairman Gutha Sukhender Reddy has urged the State government to expedite the payment of outstanding bills related to the Mana Ooru-Mana Badi initiative.
On Tuesday, contractors involved in the Mana Ooru-Mana Badi scheme met Sukhender Reddy, seeking his assistance in ensuring the swift release of their overdue payments.
In response to their concerns, Sukhender Reddy took immediate action by contacting Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Bhatti Vikramarka by phone, urging that all pending bills associated with the “Mana Ooru-Mana Badi” programme throughout the state be processed without delay.
Additionally, Sukhender Reddy sent a written letter to the Deputy Chief Minister, highlighting that the small contractors responsible for implementing the “Mana Ooru-Mana Badi” projects are facing significant financial challenges due to the non-payment of their bills.
