Hyderabad, Dec.15 (RAHNUMA):Hyderabad, December 15: Sravani Hospitals on Monday launched its compassionate healthcare initiative ‘Gift of Health – Surgical Mission 2025’, aimed at providing free surgical care to patients unable to afford treatment. The initiative was inaugurated at the hospital premises, reaffirming the institution’s commitment to accessible and inclusive healthcare.
Under the mission, 150 surgeries will be performed free of cost, with a dedicated team of surgeons, anesthetists, n
urses and healthcare professionals volunteering their expertise to ensure that financial constraints do not deny patients essential medical care.
Founder and CEO Sravani Chettupalli said the initiative reflects the hospital’s belief that healthcare should never force patients into difficult choices. The mission is designed not only to offer free surgeries but also to restore dignity and hope to those in need, she noted.
Renowned neurosurgeon and spine specialist Dr. B.S.V. Raju, who attended the event as chief guest, lauded the initiative and highlighted the need for collective responsibility in addressing healthcare accessibility, particularly for economically disadvantaged patients.
Doctors, hospital staff, and well-wishers attended the launch, underscoring the hospital’s emphasis on empathy, collaboration, and community-driven healthcare. The Surgical Mission will continue over the coming weeks, with patients being screened to ensure timely and appropriate interventions.
