
Hyderabad, Dec.25 (RAHNUMA): Numerous students sustained injuries when a college bus rolled over near the Peddapalli Jio petrol station in the Balanagar mandal along NH-44 in Mahbubnagar district on Thursday.
The students, who were from Manikanta private college in Marikal, Narayanpet district, were en route to Jalavihar in Hyderabad when the bus lost control while attempting to evade another vehicle. At the time of the incident, there were 43 students aboard. The injured individuals were transported to the Balanagar government hospital, where doctors reported that all of their conditions are stable.
Minister Vakiti Srihari, who was traveling from Hyderabad towards Wanaparthy, stopped at the accident site and reviewed the situation. A large crane was brought in to move the school bus to the side. Afterward, the Minister departed for Wanaparthy.
Police said that the Manikanta college bus, which was carrying students to Hyderabad, was involved in the accident. They stated that a case has been registered regarding the accident and an investigation has been launched.
Jadcherla CI Nagarjuna, Balanagar SI Lenin, and Rajapur SI Shivanand cleared the traffic.
