
Hyderabad, Jan.2 (RAHNUMA): Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on January 1, 2026, launched “Udyama Shilpi”, a book chronicling the life and works of noted sculptor M.V. Ramana Reddy, here at Praja Bhavan.
Planning Commission Vice Chairman Dr. G. Chinna Reddy and TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud were present. Speakers highlighted Ramana Reddy’s journey from a rural Telangana background to global recognition and his artistic contribution to the Telangana movement.
The CM praised Ramana Reddy’s landmark works, including the Amarajyoti Martyrs’ Memorial, Telangana Talli statue, Rajiv Gandhi statue and several major sculptures in India and abroad. The Telugu book is authored by senior journalist Punna Krishnamurthy.
