Sangareddy, Jan.4 (RAHNUMA): Medak Lok Sabha member M. Raghunandan Rao on Sunday predicted that the BJP would definitely come to power in Telangana after two years. He stated that justice would be served to the people of Palamuru district only after his party comes to power. He advised the party leaders of the ruling Congress and the opposition BRS parties to conduct discussions in the Assembly focusing on the subject matter without resorting to the personal attacks.
MP Raghunandan Rao, MLC Anji Reddy, and BJP district president Godavari participated in a meeting of key BJP constituency leaders at the IB Guest House in Patancheru of Sangareddy district on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, MP Raghunandan Rao criticized the ruling and opposition parties by saying that, instead of discussing the Palamuru and Krishna river waters in the Assembly, they were only busy hurling insults at each other. He said that there was no sincere discussion in the Assembly and added that only the BRS party criticising the Congress party and the Congress people was criticizing the BRS party . He expressed anger by stating that, neither the BRS party during its ten-year rule nor the Congress during in its two-year rule , had done anything for the Palamuru district , a district known for migration.
He sarcastically remarked that the people, who believed that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, being a son of the Palamuru district , would do something for them, were left disappointed. He said that both the BRS and Congress parties had only caused harm during their respective tenures. He stated that these two parties lack vision. He explained that the BJP had undertaken a nationwide program under the name of the river interlinking with the goal of providing water to every field and employment to every hand. He added that the Congress party and the BRS party leaders in the state were only preoccupied with how much they had looted and how much more they can loot? He criticised that while a minister was giving a powerpoint presentation in the Legislative Assembly, the Leader of the Opposition was giving another presentation confusing the public.
He explained that there was no difference between the then BRS and the current Congress party regarding the distribution of the Krishna river waters and the Palamuru project except for misleading the people. He expressed anger by stating that the Chief Ministers of both these parties had deceived and cheated the people of Palamuru. MP Raghunandan also remarked that it was strange that 20 MLAs were absent during the discussion in the Assembly.
