Hyderabad, Jan.5 (RAHNUMA): Minister for IT and Industries Sridhar Babu ridiculed BRS members who had earlier boasted that they would corner the government, saying they have now slipped away from the House itself.
Sridhar Babu said that after raising several questions in the Business Advisory Committee (BAC), they are now nowhere to be seen. He stated that it is not appropriate for the main opposition members to remain absent when important issues are being discussed in the Legislative Assembly.
The Minister clarified that the government arranged a presentation in the House on Krishna river waters solely to place the actual facts before the people.
If there are any objections, he said, they should be raised inside the House, and questioned how far it is justified to speak outside instead.
Sridhar Babu also urged the Chair to take action against BRS members for behaving in a manner that disrespects the Speaker.
