Hyderabad, Jan.7 (RAHNUMA): The sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Wednesday caught Akavaram Kiran Kumar, Inspector, Endowment department, red-handed while accepting a Rs.50,000 bribe in Hyderabad.
The accused officer allegedly demanded Rs.1.5 lakh for issuing a survey report related to land in Bagh Amberpet. The tainted cash was recovered at his instance near his office at Boggulakunta.
The accused was arrested and produced before the Special ACB Court, Nampally. The case is under investigation. The details of the complainant are withheld for security reasons.
