
Hyderabad/ Vijayawada, Jan.8 (RAHNUMA): India Energy Week (IEW) 2026, the first major global energy event of the year, will be held in Goa from January 27 to 30, bringing together more than 75,000 energy professionals, ministers from key energy economies, global CEOs and innovators from over 120 countries.
Hosted under the patronage of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas and jointly organised by the Federation of Indian Petroleum Industry (FIPI), IEW 2026 aims to shape the global energy agenda by advancing dialogue on energy security, transition and sustainability.
The event will feature an exhibition with over 700 domestic and international companies spanning the entire energy value chain, including hydrocarbons, renewables, hydrogen, biofuels, LNG, petrochemicals, digitalisation and next-generation energy technologies. Participants from over 120 countries and over 6,500 conference delegates will attend. The exhibition is expected to act as a global marketplace for partnerships, investments and commercial outcomes.
The high-level conference programme will include a Strategic Conference with over 300 senior speakers across 65 sessions, addressing issues such as energy security, infrastructure development, supply chain resilience and international cooperation. A parallel Technical Conference will host more than 250 expert speakers across 45 sessions, focusing on innovation, emerging technologies and implementation pathways.
A key highlight of IEW 2026 will be participation from senior ministers, heads of international organisations and CEOs of leading global energy companies, reinforcing the event’s role as a platform for global energy diplomacy.
The exhibition will be organised into 11 thematic zones, including Hydrogen, Renewables, Nuclear, Sustainable Aviation Fuel, Biofuels, LNG, Petrochemicals, City Gas Distribution, Digitalisation and AI, Make in India and India Net Zero.
