CM Revanth Reddy is an honest deceiver: KTR

Hyderabad, Jan.11 (RAHNUMA): Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president KTR on Sunday alleged that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy was an honest deceiver. KTR said that Revanth Reddy, who came to power by promising to bring back the old days of Telangana and by saying that people would entrust power to those who deceive them, was now successfully deceiving all sections of people in Telangana. He also said that Revanth Reddy announced many schemes like double pensions, Rythu Bandhu, Dalit Bandhu, two lakh jobs and PRC but has not implemented a single one thereby successfully deceiving the people of Telangana for the past 24 months.

KTR claimed that unemployed youth were protesting across the state and added that the state government should respect their agitation, call them for talks and give them assurances about providing jobs. KTR demanded that the government immediately issue notifications for two lakh jobs as promised to the unemployed and students and focus on implementing the job calendar that was released merely for media headlines. He said that CM Revanth Reddy, who went to inaugurate a clothing shop at RTC Cross Roads in Dilshuknagar, couldn’t even go to Gandhinagar, where the congress leader Rahul Gandhi had previously met with the unemployed youth. KTR said that Revanth Reddy was claiming the appointment letters given for the jobs provided by the previous government as his own and added that these lies would not last long. He also said that Revanth Reddy had cheated everyone – farmers, farm laborers, tenant farmers, students, women, the elderly and the government employees. He mocked that when asked to implement the promises made to these various groups, CM Revanth Reddy was speaking in the only language he knows.

KTR also mocked that Revanth Reddy didn’t know Telugu, Hindi, Urdu, or English, but the only language he knows was the language of abusive words. “The CM is cursing the opposition, the people and everyone with abusive language for asking him to implement the promises. But when asked to implement the Congress party’s promises, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is unable to tolerate it,” he said.

KTR noted that people in the state were now thinking that they would feel courageous if former CM KCR were to appear today. He claimed that In the 24 months of the Congress party’s failed rule, people were remembering the development and welfare programs implemented by the previous government under KCR’s leadership and added that the situation in the state had deteriorated with people having no money, businesses declining and no employment opportunities. He said that the incompetent Revanth Reddy government was responsible for this. KTR reminded that after achieving the state of Telangana, KCR worked with utmost dedication to make it a leader in all sectors and added that there was a need to remember the development the BRS government did in the city over the past ten years. “The people of Hyderabad have witnessed the power cuts, drinking water problems and chaotic roads that existed in Hyderabad ten years ago. We have solved over 90% of the drinking water problems in the state with Mission Bhagiratha scheme along with extensive drinking water projects in Hyderabad and other towns. We continued to work for the development of Hyderabad and Telangana even during the COVID-19 pandemic,” he recalled.

He stated that the situation of the defected MLAs, who switched parties and joined the Congress party, was very pathetic. “They are claiming to be the Congress party MLAs in their assembly constituencies but are still identifying themselves as the BRS party members before the assembly Speaker. BRS party Rajendranagar MLA Prakash Goud should explain to the people of his assembly constituency what development he saw that prompted him to join the Congress party? He should also clarify whether he joined hands with the Chief Minister because the proposed Metro Express project for Rajendranagar was cancelled,” he asked.

KTR made these remarks during a joining ceremony held for the followers of MLA Prakash Goud from the Rajendranagar assembly constituency at Telangana Bhavan in the city today. KTR welcomed them into the Bharat Rashtra Samithi party . The party MLA and former minister Sabitha Indra Reddy and senior party leader Karthik Reddy also participated in this meeting.
