Hyderabad, Jan.16 (RAHNUMA): Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Greater Hyderabad expresses deep concern over the recent violence in Puranapul, Hyderabad.
Dr. Mubashir Ahmed stated that such incidents disturb Hyderabad’s harmony and must be strongly condemned.
He noted that false rumours about an alleged attack on a place of worship triggered unnecessary tension, leading some miscreants to damage property and assault innocent people. This behaviour is unacceptable and harmful to the city’s reputation.
Mubashir also raised concern that, despite security presence, disturbances continued in certain areas. He urged authorities to review the lapses and prevent their recurrence.
He urged the government to identify and take strict, unbiased action against all those involved in the violence.
The Jamaat-e-Islami Hind said that the government provide immediate compensation to those who suffered losses, increase vigilance and deploy adequate forces in sensitive zones.
He appealed to the public especially the youth to stay away from rumours, act responsibly, and support efforts to maintain peace.
