
Hyderabad, Jan.17 (RAHNUMA): Koppert Sustainable Solutions (India) Pvt. Ltd., a global leader in biological solutions for sustainable agriculture, is set to inaugurate its expanded Mycorrhiza Production Facility at IDA Bollaram, Hyderabad, marking a major boost to eco-friendly farming in India.
Koppert Sustainable Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. is a joint venture between AgriLife India and Koppert BV, the Netherlands. The expanded facility will significantly enhance the company’s capacity to produce mycorrhizal solutions – beneficial soil fungi that improve nutrient and water absorption, strengthen crop resilience, and enhance soil health.
A mycorrhiza production facility enables large-scale manufacturing of natural soil-benefiting fungi that form a symbiotic relationship with plant roots. This process supports healthier crop growth, improves yields, and reduces dependence on chemical fertilisers, thereby lowering environmental impact and promoting long-term soil fertility.
The expansion represents a key milestone in Koppert’s commitment to regenerative and environmentally responsible agriculture in India. With rising demand for sustainable biological inputs from Indian farmers, the facility strengthens local manufacturing while ensuring high-quality, science-driven solutions.
Sharing details, Dr. Venkatesh Devanur, Managing Director, AgriLife India, said the expansion reflects Koppert’s long-term vision of advancing sustainable agriculture through innovation and collaboration.
