Khammam, Jan.18 (RAHNUMA): Responding to the allegations of irregularities in the Singareni coal mines tender, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has emphasised that irregularities have no place in the Congress-led government.
He stated that attempts are being made to tarnish the image of his party leaders and government due to conflicts among media outlets.
During his visit to the Khammam district, Revanth Reddy kickstarted development initiatives in Edulapuram municipality on Sunday. He also took part in the groundbreaking ceremonies for various projects, including a nursing college, the Maddulapalli agricultural market, a JNTU college, and a 100-bed government hospital in Kusumanchi. Following this, he met the elected officials and made it clear that if anyone has concerns about his party leaders, they should come to him directly; as the head of the family, he is willing to provide clarification.
“Making unfounded accusations without basis is inappropriate. There’s no room for any corruption in Singareni coal mining. I stand by this commitment,” Revanth Reddy said.
The Chief Minister further stated that because Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy is a Minister from Khammam, the combined district is progressing rapidly in development.
He urged the people to ensure the Congress party wins the municipal elections with a huge majority. Revanth Reddy also called for the development of the Bhadrachalam temple under the leadership of the Ministers from Khammam district, aiming to develop it on the lines of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir.
