Hyderabad, Jan.22 (RAHNUMA): Great news for those planning to attend the Medaram Jathara in Telangana! The State Tourism department is offering helicopter services for devotees in Medaram.
On Thursday, Minister for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Seethakka inaugurated the helicopter service at a degree college near the Mulugu district headquarters to encourage its use.
During the launch, Seethakka mentioned that the state tourism department introduced these helicopter services to help devotees have a swift darshan of the goddesses without wasting precious time.
She also revealed that the round trip ticket from Hanumakonda district center to Medaram and back is priced at Rs. 31,000 per person. For those interested in exploring the areas around Medaram, a helicopter tour ticket is available for Rs. 4,800.
The Minister encouraged devotees visiting Sammakka and Saralamma in Medaram to take advantage of the helicopter service.
