Hyderabad, Jan.22 (RAHNUMA): The state government has issued orders to organize the Telangana Gaddar Film Awards (TGFA) – 2025 for films certified between January 1 and December 31, 2025 (both days inclusive).
As per the government order, a notification was released by the Telangana Film Development Corporation Limited (TGFDC). Entries are invited from film producers and government agencies worldwide for Telugu-language films under various categories which included Feature Films, Feature Films on Films on National Integration, films on environment / Heritage / History, Debut Feature Films, Films on Wholesome Entertainment, Feature Films on Social Message, Animation Films, Special effects Films, Children’s Films, Individual Awards for Artists and Technicians, Documentary Films, Short Films, Books and Critical articles on Telugu Cinema and Feature Films in Urdu language.

The prescribed application forms, along with rules and regulations, can be obtained from the Telangana Film Development Corporation from January 21, 2026 on payment of Rs. 5,900 (inclusive of 18% GST) through Demand Draft / UPI, drawn in favour of “Managing Director, Telangana Film Development Corporation Limited”, payable at Hyderabad.
Last date for sale of entry forms is January 31, 2026, up to 3 PM, and last date for submission of completed entries is February 3 up to 3 PM. Completed applications must be submitted at the office of the Managing Director, TGFDC, Hyderabad.
