Time-Bound recruitment key to Viksit Bharat 2047: Union Minister Kishan Reddy

Hyderabad, Jan.24 (RAHNUMA): Union Minister for Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy on Saturday said the Centre is conducting ‘time-bound recruitment drives’ across the ministries under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s direction to build a developed India by 2047.

Addressing a gathering at the ’18th Rozgar Mela’ at the CRPF Group Centre, Chandrayangutta, Kishan Reddy said that Rozgar Melas launched in 2022 have streamlined and accelerated the government hiring across the states. Newly appointed youth will play a crucial role in nation-building, he said and added that the government is also promoting ‘startups and new investments’ to generate private-sector employment, with India emerging as a trusted global investment destination.

During the event, 213 appointment letters were distributed to candidates from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, including 179 for CRPF, 16 for ITBP, 5 each for SSB and BSF, and posts in IIT-Hyderabad, Bank of Baroda, IFLU, and the Ministry of Education. 15 women candidates were among the appointees. “Amid current global tensions, India is seen as a reliable destination, and new investments will help create jobs,” he noted.

Senior CRPF officials including South Zone Medical IG Ganesh Chandra Padi, Hyderabad Centre DIG Uday Bhaskar Billa, and Commandant Mohan Das Kobrugade participated in the event.

The 18th Rozgar Mela was organised at 45 locations across the country. 61,000 newly recruited candidates, selected from all parts of India, will be joining various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India, including the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Department of Financial Services, Department of Higher Education, among others.
