
Hyderabad, Jan26 (RAHNUMA): Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU) will soon introduce agriculture-based vocational skill courses aimed at benefiting the students and farmers, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Ghanta Chakrapani announced this on Republic Day celebrations.
After hoisting the National Flag at the campus, BRAOU vice-chancellor Prof. Ghanta Chakrapani said the courses would provide high-quality, skill-oriented education, particularly for rural Telangana, and prepare students from the first semester to meet corporate requirements. The University’s courses are specifically structured to prepare students from the very first semester to meet the requirements of corporate organisations, enabling them to access employment opportunities globally, he added.
Elsewhere, Dr. L. Vijaya Krishna Reddy, Registrar, BRAOU, unfurled the National Flag at the BRAOU Non-Teaching Employees’ Association premises and addressed the staff.
The celebrations were attended by Prof. Pushpa Chakrapani, Prof. Anand Pawar, Prof. Rabindranath Solomon, Prof. Pallavi Kabade, Dr. Venkateshwarlu, Prof. Sridevi, Prof. Vaddanam Srinivas, and several Directors, Deans, Heads of Branches, teaching and non-teaching staff, and representatives of service associations.
