
Hyderabad, Jan.28 (RAHNUMA): The BJP central team which was constituted for the upcoming Municipal and Corporation elections in Telangana, has begun its preparatory exercise with the state leadership.
The three-member team, appointed by newly elected BJP National President Nitin Nabin, includes Maharashtra Minister Ashish Shelar as Election In-Charge, former Rajasthan BJP President Ashok Parnami and Rajya Sabha MP Rekha Sharma as co-incharges.
The team held a meeting on Wednesday with the Municipal and Corporation Election Monitoring Committee at the BJP State Office here, under the chairmanship of State BJP President N Ramchander Rao. The discussions focused on election strategy, campaign planning, and outlining programmes aimed at securing BJP’s victory in the civic polls.
The central team also reviewed the implementation of the party’s action plan and stressed effective coordination with grassroots workers to strengthen the election campaign.
Earlier, the committee interacted with Mahila Morcha leaders in a separate meeting presided over by N Ramchander Rao.
The meetings were attended by Ashish Shelar, Ashok Parnami, BJP Telangana State In-Charge Abhay Patil, Organisational General Secretary Chandrashekhar Tiwari, state general secretaries, and other senior leaders.
