
Hyderabad, Jan.31 (RAHNUMA): St. Joseph’s Degree and PG College hosted “Josephiesta 2026”, a vibrant inter-collegiate fest that showcased student talent across academics, sports and culture, turning the campus into a hub of youthful energy and creativity.
The event was inaugurated by Deepak John Kokkadan, Chairman of the Telangana Christian Minorities Finance Corporation, who encouraged students to make use of government scholarship schemes and overseas education opportunities, while urging them to be industry-ready contributors to national development.
Msgr. Yeruva Balashowry, Vice-Chairman of HAES and College correspondent, said the fest reflected the institution’s commitment to holistic education, while Principal Rev. Fr. Anthony Sagayaraja described Josephiesta as a platform that nurtures innovation, collaboration and leadership.
Competitions ranged from acting, marketing and mathematics events to group dance, battle of bands and a cultural fashion show highlighting India’s diversity. The fest concluded with a valedictory ceremony and distribution of prizes, followed by the National Anthem.
