
Hyderabad, Feb.5 (RAHNUMA): Minister for Agriculture Tummala Nageshwar Rao has declared that the State government will establish an agricultural college in each of the erstwhile districts of the state.
In line with the state government’s initiative to enhance agricultural education, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is scheduled to inaugurate a new agricultural college in Nizamabad district in February.
This state-of-the-art agricultural college will be situated on a 120-acre site, encompassing survey numbers 265/1, 277, and 334, within the Telangana University campus, adjacent to the villages of Suddapalli and Dadapalli in Nizamabad district. The institution will be equipped to offer advanced technologies, conduct research, provide training, and deliver farmer services within the agricultural sector at a centralised location.
The Minister emphasised that provisions have been made to provide contemporary agricultural education to students and to directly benefit local farmers.
