BRAOU Celebrates Placement Success; Plans ‘Tata-Ambedkar Training Centre’ To Boost Jobs

Hyderabad, Feb.19 (RAHNUMA): Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU) hosted a Placement Success Meet, honoring the students who secured employment through TCS iON partner companies. Vice Chancellor Prof. Ghanta Chakrapani described BRAOU students as “gems” and announced plans to establish a Tata–Ambedkar Training Centre in the coming days to enhance technical skills and job opportunities.

Prof. Chakrapani handed over Job offer letters to 64 candidates selected by TCS iON partner companies. He said that it is continuously working to provide quality education to the learners and impart industry-relevant skills. He said that plans are being prepared to set up a special training center named ‘Tata – Ambedkar’ in collaboration with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) to enhance job opportunities. Tata is at the forefront of serving the society and nation building through human resource development. He revealed that the proposed center will focus on equipping students with advanced technical skills and professional competencies.

Prof. Pushpa Chakrapani, Director (Academic), Chakrapani said that the university provides equal education and job opportunities to all its students. She explained that the students of the Open University are competent in all fields and are ready to be useful to the industries. Dr. L. V. K. Reddy, Registrar said Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University remarked that progress and achievement together define true success. He described the job achievers as torchbearers for the next generation of BRAOU learners. Dr Reddy appreciated their dedication and perseverance in reaching their goals. He urged them to inspire and encourage those who could not pursue education in conventional universities to embrace open and distance learning.

Offer letters were distributed to 64 selected candidates, while officials highlighted the university’s focus on industry-relevant training and its goal of creating 10,000 employment opportunities in the coming years. TCS iON representatives emphasized continuous learning, ethics, and skill development as keys to career success. University leaders praised the achievers as role models for future learners.
