
LONDON(RAHNUMA): Jordan and Bahrain reaffirmed their military partnerships during a meeting between Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti, chairman of the joint chiefs of staff, and Maj. Gen. Ali Al-Khalifa, Bahrain’s assistant chief of staff for human resources.
The meeting on Sunday in Amman came during the ongoing US-Israeli conflict with Iran, as the two countries reported Iranian drone and missile attacks since Feb. 28.
Huneiti reaffirmed the Jordanian forces’ commitment to enhancing collaboration with their Bahraini counterparts, emphasizing the need for greater military cooperation to strengthen regional security and stability, according to Petra news agency.
The two sides seek to enhance ties and share expertise in military training to develop defense capabilities and serve mutual interests, Petra added.
The meeting was attended by several senior officers of the Jordan Armed Forces and the Bahraini military attache in Amman.
