Hyderabad, March 24 (RAHNUMA): The TG-SET 2026 results were officially released by Minister Adluri Laxman Kumar at the TGSWREIS Building, Masab Tank in Hyderabad.
The results were released online in the presence of Dr. Tejavat Bellayya Naik, Chairman, TRICOR ; Smt. Sita Lakshmi, Secretary, TGTWREI_Society Sri Saidulu, Secretary, MJPTBCWREIS and Sri B.M. Santosh, IAS, Director, Tribal Welfare Department.
A total of 1.82 lakh candidates registered, with 1.72 lakh appearing (95% turnout). The top score touched 98/100, reflecting high competition.
Across 635 institutions, 51,284 seats are available, of which 47,381 were filled in Phase–I. The exam, held on February 22, covered admissions for Class V and backlog seats (VI–IX).
Selected candidates are required to report to their allotted schools with necessary documents between March 25 and April 15, 2026.
The Minister emphasized a fully transparent, merit-based process, warning that middlemen or agents will not be tolerated.
On this occasion, the Minister informed that discussions are underway with the Finance Department to resolve pending salary issues of employees, and necessary steps are being taken to regularize wages in accordance with labor laws.
