Hyderabad, March 26 (RAHNUMA): On the auspicious occasion of Sri Rama Navami, Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla has extended his best wishes to the people of Telangana.
In a statement here on Thursday, the Governor said that Sri Rama Navami is celebrated nationwide with profound devotion, on the auspicious “Punarvasu” – the Janma Nakshatra of Lord Sri Rama, who is revered for embodying the essence of righteousness and ideal virtues.
He stated that the celestial Kalyana Mahotsavam of Sri Rama and Sita is celebrated on this holy occasion of Sri Rama Navami, epitomising divine love and harmony.
“As we observe Sri Rama Navami, let us draw inspiration from the exemplary life of Lord Rama, embracing principles of righteousness for a fulfilling existence.
Warmest greetings to the people of Telangana on this joyous Sri Rama Navami celebration,” he said.
