AIR WARFARE COURSE CONCLUDES WITH HONOURS IN SECUNDERABAD

Hyderabad, April 2 (RAHNUMA): The 49th Higher Air Command Course (HACC) concluded at the College of Air Warfare (CAW) on April 1, 2026, marking the successful training of senior officers from the armed forces. The annual flagship course of CAW, commenced on June 23 last year, saw the participation of officers of the rank of Group Captain and equivalent from all the three services. The course is aimed at preparing the participating officers for Senior Command and Staff Appointments, by enhancing their understanding of operational and strategic level employment of aerospace power and integrated operations along with broad exposure to other elements of national power.

Air Marshal Manish Khanna, who attended as the Reviewing Officer, highlighted the need for jointmanship and integrated operations in modern warfare. He congratulated all course participants and appreciated the efforts of CAW for conducting the Professional Military Education for the three services in an exemplary manner. The Air Marshal also released CAW and HACC Journal for 2026.

Air chief marshal LM Katre trophy was awarded to Group Captain Dhanpreet Paul Singh Bali for best overall performance, while Commandant’s trophy for excellence in academics and Air Marshal KB Singh trophy for best individual research paper was awarded to Colonel S Pradeep.
