Hyderabad, May 2 (RAHNUMA): CV. Anand, who has recently assumed charge as the Director General of Police (DGP) of Telangana, paid a courtesy call on Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla at Lok Bhavan on Saturday.
On the occasion, the DGP presented a bouquet to the Governor. The Governor congratulated CV. Anand on taking charge as DGP and extended his best wishes.
The DGP later held a brief meeting with the Governor. During the meeting, Anand apprised the Governor of the measures being taken to maintain law and order in the State.
Meanwhile, Shikha Goel, Principal Secretary (Home department), also called on Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla at the Lok Bhavan.
