Hyderabad, May 8 (RAHNUMA): Jubilee Hills MLA Naveen Yadav, MLA, along with GHMC Commissioner RV Karnan and HYDRA Commissioner AV Ranganath, on Friday visited Krishnanagar, Yousufguda Circle to inspect the recurring problem of water stagnation during monsoon season.
The MLA and officials conducted a field-level inspection of roads and storm water drains where heavy accumulation of silt has been causing blockage and overflow during rains.
Local residents explained the hardships faced every year due to inundated roads, traffic disruption and sanitation issues. The Commissioners directed concerned engineering and sanitation officials to immediately undertake desilting works, improve drainage flow and prepare a permanent solution to prevent water logging in vulnerable areas.
The team also reviewed ongoing civic works and instructed officials to complete pre-monsoon preparedness measures on priority. Residents appreciated the visit and expressed hope that timely intervention would provide long-term relief from recurring rain-related problems.
