DUBAI(RAHNUMA): Minister of Foreign Affairs of Oman Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al-Busaidi and the secretary-general of the International Maritime Organization Arsenio Dominguez discussed current challenges facing maritime navigation in the strait of Hormuz.
During a meeting in Muscat on Monday, they also reviewed efforts to address the challenges through peaceful means and reaffirmed adherence to international law, as well as respect for states’ sovereignty over their territorial waters.
They also stressed respect for the sovereignty of states over their territorial waters as a key principle for ensuring safe and stable navigation in the region.
