NITHM to host ‘Destination Telangana’ tourism conclave today

Hyderabad, May 22 (RAHNUMA): The National Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management (NITHM), jointly promoted by the Union Ministry of Tourism and Telangana government under the aegis of the Youth Advancement, Tourism & Culture (YAT&C) department, will organise a tourism conclave on the theme “Destination Telangana – Road Ahead” at the NITHM Campus, Gachibowli, Hyderabad on Saturday.

Minister for Tourism, Culture and Archaeology, Prohibition & Excise Jupally Krishna Rao will attend the conclave and address the gathering.

The conclave is being organised as part of the celebrations marking the Government of Telangana’s 99 Days Praja Palana Pragathi Pranalika.

The programme will commence with Telangana Tourism poster exhibitions, plantation of saplings on the campus and inaugural addresses by senior officials. Special Chief Secretary, YAT&C Department Vani Prasad, MD, TGTDC and Chairman, TGTDC will also address the gathering.

The event will witness the signing of MoUs and launch of the Telangana Tourism “Brand Kit”.

The conclave will feature a series of panel discussions involving tourism industry leaders, hospitality experts, policymakers and stakeholders on the future roadmap for Telangana tourism.

The conclave aims to deliberate on strategies for tourism promotion, destination development, heritage conservation, sustainable tourism practices and strengthening Telangana’s tourism ecosystem.
