Hyderabad, May 29 (RAHNUMA): Activists of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), led by state president Ganesh Kunde, paid tributes to Telangana martyrs at the Gun Park Martyrs’ Memorial in Hyderabad on Friday.
The BJYM later staged a protest against the State Government’s “Youth Declaration”, alleging that it had betrayed unemployed youth in Telangana.
Addressing the gathering, Ganesh Kunde accused the Congress government of failing to fulfil promises related to job recruitment, unemployment allowance and transparent hiring processes. He said the youth, who played a key role in achieving Telangana statehood, were now being neglected.
BJYM announced a series of protest programmes across the state, including round-table meetings with unemployed youth, sit-ins at Ambedkar statues in mandals, sieges of MLA camp offices, protests at Collectorates, demonstrations outside Ministers’ offices and “Chalo Telangana Secretariat” campaign
Several BJYM state leaders, district representatives and youth activists participated in the protest.
