Hyderabad, June 11 (RAHNUMA): Teachers’ constituency MLC Malka Komaraiah has appealed to state Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla to direct the Telangana government to effectively implement all welfare schemes introduced by the Central government.
During a meeting at Lok Bhavan in Hyderabad, Komaraiah submitted a representation to the Governor alleging that the state government has failed to properly implement nearly 22 Central schemes, including Jal Jeevan Mission, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana and Soil Health Card Scheme.
The MLC claimed that the state government’s failure to implement the crop insurance scheme has deprived farmers of compensation for losses caused by natural calamities such as droughts and excessive rainfall, resulting in financial hardship for the farming community.
Komaraiah urged the Governor to intervene and ensure the comprehensive implementation of all Central welfare schemes in Telangana for the benefit of people.
