
Hyderabad, June 11 (RAHNUMA): The results for the 2026 intermediate public advanced supplementary examinations were released on Thursday, indicating that 49.29 percent of students successfully passed.
According to the Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TG BIE), 1,31,128 students from both general and vocational streams participated in the second-year examinations, with 64,639 (representing 49.29 percent) achieving a passing grade.
Analysis of the results shows that 47,395 girls took the exams and 52.56 percent of them passed. In contrast, 83,733 boys participated, and their pass rate was 47.45 percent.
For the intermediate first year, 2,67,331 students sat for the exams, and 68.84 percent were successful. Here again, girls outperformed boys, with 1,23,974 girls achieving a pass rate of 76.10 percent, while 1,43,357 boys registered a pass percentage of 62.57.
The examination results are accessible on the official websites: https://tgbie.cgg.gov.in and https://results.cgg.gov.in. Consistently, girls demonstrated a higher success rate compared to boys.
Students interested in requesting a recounting of their marks or a re-verification along with a scanned copy of their evaluated answer script must submit their applications and pay Rs. 100 for recounting and Rs. 800 for re-verification per paper. These requests can be made through the BIE website (https://tgbie.cgg.gov.in) between June 12 and June 18.
The Board has advised students to download and print a color copy of their online memorandum of marks from https://tgbie.cgg.gov.in, available from Thursday at 5 pm.
