
Hyderabad, June 12 (RAHNUMA): The Tripartite MoA Signing Ceremony under the BioNEST Co-Incubation Program was successfully conducted at ICAR-NAARM, Hyderabad, between a-IDEA, ICAR-NAARM, ICAR-IIOR, and the selected startups.
The startups inducted into the program were Creators Agro Trading & Solution Pvt. Ltd., Tamil Nadu, represented by Samuel Prince A, Founder & Managing Director, which is developing region-specific entomopathogenic nematodes (EPNs) for sustainable pest management and Sudeep Agriculture Rural Allied Manufactory (OPC) Pvt. Ltd., Telangana, represented by K. Vamshi Krishna Reddy, Director, which promotes decentralized production of bio-fertilizers and bio-pesticides.
Dr. Raman Meenakshi Sundaram, President, a-IDEA and Director, ICAR-NAARM, emphasized the importance of climate-resilient agriculture, biological inputs and science-driven entrepreneurship in transforming Indian agriculture.
Dr. R.K. Mathur, Director, ICAR-IIOR, highlighted the institute’s support to startups through scientific expertise, technology validation, and research infrastructure.
Dr. Gopal Lal, Vice President, a-IDEA and Joint Director, ICAR-NAARM, encouraged the founders to continue innovating in the oilseed sector, where startup participation remains limited but highly impactful.
Earlier, Dr. Ranjit Kumar, CEO, a-IDEA, welcomed the gathering and the startup selection process was briefed by Dr. R. D. Prasad, ICAR-IIOR, and Dr. P. Supriya, ICAR-NAARM.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Paritosh Tripathi, COO, a-IDEA. The event reflects the continued commitment of a-IDEA, ICAR-NAARM and ICAR-IIOR towards promoting innovation and strengthening the agri-biotech ecosystem.
