Release fee reimbursement dues immediately: BRSV

Hyderabad, June 19 (RAHNUMA): Demanding the immediate release of pending fee reimbursement dues, Bharat Rashtra Samithi Vidyarthi ( BRSV), the student wing of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party, unveiled a poster on the premises of Arts College in Osmania University on Friday.

On the occasion, Thunga Balu, the state vice-president of BRSV, stated that numerous students are experiencing significant difficulties because these fee reimbursements have not been disbursed.

He alleged that the education sector in Telangana has been completely neglected over the past 30 months, expressing concern that a system once ranked among the best in the country has now deteriorated significantly.

Although Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, in his speeches, often states that “the future of Telangana lies in its students and education system,” Balu criticised that, in practice, the sector has been neglected.

He remarked that neglecting future generations is equivalent to neglecting the future of Telangana itself.

Thunga Balu further alleged a lack of transparency, security, and proper planning in the conduct of examinations, and accused the government of failing to release necessary funds to educational institutions.

He noted that students and their parents are facing serious financial difficulties due to the delay in clearing fee reimbursement dues.

Criticising the government for ignoring its responsibility to address students’ issues, the BRSV leader said the education system has been left in disarray.

On the occasion, Thunga Balu announced that a state-level student conference will be held on July 22 at Tagore Auditorium in Hyderabad under the leadership of Kompalli Naresh. The conference will focus on student issues, pending fee reimbursement dues, and the protection of the education sector.

BRSV leaders Avala Haribabu, Oggu Shivakumar, Kuruva Pallayya, Ram Narsing Goud, Puli Srikanth, Konda Ganesh, Saikumar, Karunakar, Uday, Nitish Kumar, Mahender, Ramesh Kumar, Rajesh, Sai Prakash, and Nitish, along with TRSV leaders and others, participated in the event.
