Hyderabad, June 24 (RAHNUMA): In a major revenue-generation initiative, the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) has decided to lease out its commercial complexes and vacant shop spaces across the state. The corporation will soon invite tenders for 694 vacant shops located in bus stations, depots and commercial complexes.
With lakhs of commuters passing through RTC premises daily, the spaces offer a lucrative opportunity for entrepreneurs, retailers, food courts, hotels, supermarkets, branded outlets and small businesses. TGSRTC has published details of all available commercial spaces on its official website, including occupancy status, lease periods, rental rates and locations.
TGSRTC Managing Director Y. Nagi Reddy said the leasing process has been simplified and made transparent, eliminating middlemen and enhancing digital accountability. He urged entrepreneurs to utilize the opportunity and become partners in the corporation’s growth. “Join hands with TGSRTC and grow your business”, he added.
Officials believe the initiative will not only boost RTC revenues but also generate employment and stimulate local business activity across Telangana.
