SHABBIR ALI DISTRIBUTES 1,700 SEWING MACHINES, Rs.28 LAKH CMRF AID IN NIZAMABAD

Nizamabad, June 30(RAHNUMA): Government Adviser Mohammed Ali Shabbir on Tuesday distributed sewing machines to minority women and Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) cheques to beneficiaries in Nizamabad, reiterating the Telangana government’s focus on minority welfare and support for poor families.

At a programme organised by the Telangana Minorities Finance Corporation, Shabbir Ali said 1,700 sewing machines worth Rs.1.02 crore were being distributed across Nizamabad district, including 500 machines for women from Nizamabad Urban constituency. He said the initiative aimed to promote self-employment and economic empowerment among minority women.

Later, at the R&B Guest House, he distributed CMRF cheques worth Rs.28 lakh to 42 beneficiaries from various divisions of Nizamabad town. He said the relief fund was providing crucial financial assistance to families facing medical emergencies, accidents and other hardships. Congress government was implementing welfare schemes transparently and ensuring benefits reached eligible beneficiaries directly without middlemen, he added and urged recipients to make productive use of the assistance and called on officials and public representatives to work together for effective implementation of welfare programmes.

Nizamabad Urban MLA Dhanpal Suryanarayana Gupta, NUDA Chairman Keshavenu, Congress leaders and beneficiaries attended the programmes.
