Hyderabad, June 30 (RAHNUMA): Property registration services across Telangana have come to a standstill for the past two days following a major server failure in the Registration department. Online services, including slot bookings, challan payments and e-KYC verification, have been disrupted, causing inconvenience to thousands of buyers and sellers.
People who arrived at Sub-Registrar offices with pre-booked appointments and witnesses were forced to wait for hours at the offices as the registrations of land, houses and other immovable properties could not be processed. Document writers and citizens expressed frustration, noting that similar technical glitches have affected services four times in the last three months.
Officials said a state-level technical team is working to restore the servers, but no timeline has been announced for the resumption of normal services.
