Hyderabad, July 1 (RAHNUMA): Rajendranagar Traffic Police conducted a comprehensive safety inspection of private school transport under the directions of DCP Traffic-III Rahul Hegde.
The inspection was carried out by CH. Raju, SHO Rajendranagar Traffic PS, along with a team of deputed Sub-Inspectors (SIs) and Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs). The initiative aims to ensure the highest standards of safety for school children during their daily transit and to streamline traffic management around educational institutions. During the extensive drive, the team verified the driving licenses of school bus drivers alongside essential vehicle documents, including Fitness Certificates (FC), Registration Certificates (RC), insurance, and pollution certificates.
The team also inspected parking facilities, boarding and deboarding points, reviewed the functioning of Road Safety Committees, and monitored traffic management by school staff during peak hours. School managements were instructed to immediately rectify deficiencies and strictly comply with transport safety norms.
