
Hyderabad, July 7 (RAHNUMA): BRS president and former chief minister K. Chandrashekar Rao expressed his sorrow over the passing of Kommidi Narsimha Reddy, a Telangana movement activist and former MLA of Bhongir.
In a statement on Tuesday, KCR acknowledged Narsimha Reddy’s significant contributions to the Telangana movement and his role in public service.
Recognising him as a leader who was deeply connected to the people, the BRS chief emphasised that Narsimha Reddy exemplified simplicity, integrity, and honesty throughout his political journey.
He highlighted Narsimha Reddy’s remarkable act of donating hundreds of acres of his own land to the needy during the Bhoodan movement and his active involvement in the 1969 Telangana agitation.
KCR also remembered Narsimha Reddy’s dedication to preserving the Musi River and his efforts to secure water from the Godavari River for Telangana.
Acknowledging that his contributions to society and the Telangana cause were exceptional, KCR extended his heartfelt condolences to Narsimha Reddys ’s grieving family and offered prayers for their strength during this difficult time.
