
Hyderabad, July 13 (RAHNUMA): Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy congratulated Pravallika Narimalla for winning the gold medal in the women’s 4x400m relay at the inaugural Asian U-23 Athletics Championships held in Ordos, China.
Telangana pride Pravallika Narimalla displayed exceptional talent at the Asian U-23 Athletics Championship and won the gold medal in the women’s 4x400m relay.Pravallika studied at the SC Gurukul Degree College in Nalgonda and trained at the Dindi Gurukul Sports Academy.
In a statement on Monday, the Chief Minister praised Pravallika for excelling on the international stage and serving as an inspiration to all young athletes. Pravallika, daughter of a mason, proved that perseverance and dedication makes everything possible.
Pravallika won the gold medal as part of the 4x400m relay team alongside Sravani Sachin Sangle, Sandramol Sabu, and Nofisa Khatun. The four-member team clinched the gold with a time of 3:33.62 seconds, surpassing the host nation, China.
Prior to reaching the international level, Pravallika established an impressive domestic record by winning a total of 35 state-level medals, including 23 gold medals across various competitions. The CM congratulated the coaches who trained Pravallika.
Revanth Reddy also congratulated all the Indian athletes who won a total of 16 medals, including 3 gold, 4 silver, and 9 bronze in the championship
