Hyderabad, July 21 (NSS): The All India Students’ Federation (AISF) has announced a statewide “Chalo Collectorate” protest on July 23, demanding the immediate release of pending fee reimbursement and scholarship funds.
AISF State President Kasireddy Manikanta Reddy and State Secretary Putta Lakshman released the campaign poster here on Tuesday and accused the Telangana government of neglecting students welfare. They alleged that thousands of students are facing financial hardship due to delays in scholarship and fee reimbursement payments.
On this occasion, the leaders condemned private colleges for allegedly withholding students’ original educational certificates over fee disputes, saying the practice is affecting admissions and employment opportunities. They urged the government to intervene immediately, release all pending dues, and ensure the return of students’ certificates.
AISF also appealed to students, youth and democratic organisations to participate in the statewide protest. AISF leaders Samidi Vamsivardhan Reddy, Mohammad Anwar, Anil, and Harish, along with leaders Krishna, Raghu, Arun, Joseph Bhanu and Bhanu, participated in this program.
