
Hyderabad, July 29 (RAHNUMA): Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla stressed that Artificial Intelligence (AI) should complement, not replace, human creativity during his maiden visit to Doordarshan Kendra, Hyderabad on Wednesday. He was received by N.V. Ramana, Deputy Director General (Engineering) and Head of Kendra, Dr. Rahul Gaulikar, Director, News Division, and other senior officials.
Appreciating the Doordarshan’s role in delivering credible public service broadcasting, the Governor urged for greater focus on meaningful and creative content. He stressed that while technological advancements should be embraced, equal importance must be accorded to producing quality, meaningful and creative content. The Governor also recorded a special interview for Doordarshan on the ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat’ campaign, urging citizens to actively participate in the nationwide movement against substance abuse. The interview is scheduled to be telecast across the country very soon. He planted a sapling under the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ initiative, and was felicitated by officials of the DD Kendra.
Joint Secretary to the Governor, K. Shashi Kiranachary, accompanied the Governor during the visit.
