Hyderabad, Aug.6 (RAHNUMA): Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy paid floral tributes to the portrait of Professor K. Jayashankar at his residence in Jubilee Hills on Thursday on the occasion of the latter’s birth anniversary.
The Chief Minister recalled Professor Jayashankar’s pivotal role as an ideologue of the Telangana movement and lauded his lifelong commitment to the cause of a separate Telangana State.
Revanth Reddy described Professor Jayashankar as a great personality who worked tirelessly throughout his life for the realisation of Telangana. He said the people’s government was committed to fulfilling the ideals and aspirations of Professor Jayashankar and carrying forward his vision for the State.
