
Vijayawada, Aug.26 (RAHNUMA): PanIIT Alumni India will host the PanIIT Andhra Pradesh Summit 2026 on October 3 at Novotel Vijayawada Varun, bringing together over 500 leaders from industry, government, academia, startups and investment.
To be inaugurated by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, the one-day summit will focus on “Catalysing innovation for Swarnandhra Vision 2047”, with discussions on AI, DeepTech, semiconductors, quantum computing, healthcare, green energy, defence and aerospace.
Addressing media persons, PanIIT Chairman Prabhat Kumar said the organisation aims to leverage the global IIT alumni network to support Andhra Pradesh’s technology-led growth and position Amaravati as a leading Deep Tech capital of India. A PanIIT Centre of Excellence in Amaravati is also being explored, with a possible MoU with the State government at the summit.
“The PanIIT Andhra Pradesh Summit 2026 is an opportunity to bring together the collective strength of government, industry, academia, entrepreneurs and the global IIT alumni community. Andhra Pradesh has a vast and influential diaspora spread across the world, particularly in the United States. IIT alumni would like to play a catalytic role in the development of Andhra Pradesh”, Prabhat Kumar noted.
Organisers said the event would strengthen collaboration among the government, industry, academia and entrepreneurs and help attract investment, promote research and create new technology-driven growth opportunities in Andhra Pradesh.
